Warm Up With Our Mid-Winter Flavour Of The Month: Hot Chilli! 1st July 2010: Hello everyone! A new month has rolled around and that means we've changed our Flavour Of The Month special too. This month - because it's mid-winter - we're taking 10% off all our great Hot Chilli lines. This discount applies to any size of Hot Chilli that you order at our stores, over the phone or through our website's secure shopping cart. Then Come On In To The Peanut Van! 22nd April 2010: You can now reach The Peanut Van on two domains: the well-known peanutvan.com.au that we've had for the last 10 years, and now on peanutman.com.au as well. Why the extra domain? Well, ever since we rolled out our TV ad a little earlier this year (you can see it at right) we've found that some people who've never bought peanuts from us before have been typing "peanut man" into the search engines when they've tried to find our web site. We really appreciate their interest and we're always looking for ways to make things easier and better for our customers. So when we found out that peanutman.com.au was available we purchased that domain too. And that means you should be able to find us by either method in the future!

Are You On Our Peanut Van Mailing List? Sign Up Now - It's Easy! 18th April 2010: Are you on The Peanut Van's mailing list? If you're not and you'd like to be, signing up is easy!. Just put your name and email address into the "Stay In Touch" box that now appears on the left-hand side of most pages on our website and click the "Yes please!" button. The Peanut Van has been putting out newsletters ever since 1969 and these days we try to send out a newsletter every 6 to 8 weeks (depending on how busy we are - some times of the year are much busier for farming than others as we're sure you'd understand!) Every issue is full of quirky information about peanuts and peanut farming; recipes; odd bits we think you'll enjoy; and other things that have caught our eye and which we think might interest you as well. We also try to include at least one special offer for our readers every time we put out a newsletter as our way of saying "Thank you!" for being a subscriber. Many of these offers never appear on our website - or if they do, they get to all our subscribers first. Naturally, your email details are never shared with anybody (in accordance with our Privacy Policy). Crikey! Our 1kg Macadamia Special Is Now Competely Sold Out 26th March 2010: On March 1st we announced that we had a special on our 1kg packs of Macadamia nuts and that - for a short time only - we'd be able to make them available for almost half price (ie $25 - they're normally $43.95). We were able to make this special available because we were lucky enough to get an incredible buy on these delicious nuts from an overstocked grower who'd had a bumper harvest. But we're sad to report that we've now completely sold out of this stock line and that we're unlikely to have any more 1kg macadamia packs available until mid-April (when they'll be returning to their normal price). The Peanut Van occasionally gets lucky nut buys like these from our suppliers. And whenever we do, we always pass the savings on to you, our customers. It's our way of saying "Thanks!" for your incredible support. However our Easter Special and Flavour Of The Month specials are still available (to April 15th and April 30th respectively). So if you want a great buy, check these out (see our stories about them elsewhere on this page). UPDATE 20th April 2010: We sorry to report that we've not only sold out of our 1kg packs, but we've now also sold all our 200gm and 375gm packs too - which means that we're completely out of macadamias! We've been trying to secure fresh stocks all this month but (so far) haven't had any luck with this at all. We really do apologise - and we'll let you know as soon as macadamias are available again.
